About The Artist:
Hello! I'm Sonja. I’ve always enjoyed some form of creativity throughout my life, having dabbled in many, but I'll be honest, I’ve never thought of myself as an ‘artist’.
I stumbled upon alcohol ink art a few years ago and was just mesmerised! This beautiful art form was definitely for me, with its fluid and abstract nature and the colours were amazing. It was something I just had to try.
Who we are: A Father/Son Duo
Chris (Bossman)
After 3 decades in agricultural
science, Chris decided to
takeover Picton Social in
2020. With no prior experience in hospitality service, he figured out
a way to turn this small country
town cafe into a thriving business.
Main roles: Owner, dishie, furniture
mover. plant waterer.
Tom
Sick of slogging it out as a
landscaper on a construction site,
Tom decided to team up with his
Dad and build Picton Social alongside him. Tom now runs his
own barista courses and has amassed a small social media following on his instagram account
@tomscoffeecollege
Main roles: Barista, manager.

Tom's online barista course was made for those who live too far away to attend the in-person course. It contains all the content that is in the course but broken down into step-by-step video format. You can access the course from anywhere, and it is entirely self-paced.
